1. Purpose of Privacy Policy
Handling of all personal information handled by our business.
MASON complies with the relevant laws and regulations and other norms regarding the personal information of clients, business partners, etc. handled in the course of providing consulting and engineering services related to our business, and will not disclose such personal information to any third-party without the prior written consent of the relevant parties.
In addition, MASON guarantees to establish voluntary rules and systems in consideration of international trends, and these rules and systems will be implemented and maintained in order to contribute to the protection of the rights of interested parties.
As a company trusted by the customers, MASON aims to earn trust and contribute to the development of business of the clients by appropriately managing personal information and preventing incidents when providing consulting and engineering services.
MASON is committed to a personal information protection management system based on the policies set forth below:
- (1) MASON complies with relevant legal and other requirements (contracts, agreements, etc.).
- (2) MASON complies with applicable requirements related to the management system.
- (3) Establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain, and continually improve the management system to enhance performance.
- (4) MASON assesses the impact of the business activities on risks and opportunities, and set targets for important items to the extent technically and economically feasible.
- (5) All employees and related parties will be made aware of the importance of the policy, and ongoing training and activities to raise awareness will be conducted.
- (6) The policy will be disseminated to all employees in writing and disclosed to the public.
- (7) Throughout the phases of MASON’s business activities, MASON will prioritize the following actions:
- 1) In principle, MASON will obtain the consent of the individual whose personal information will be collected.
- 2) MASON will not obtain any personal information by improper means.
- 3) MASON clearly defines the purpose of use of personal information within the scope necessary for the performance of MASON’s business, and will acquire, use, and provide personal information appropriately. Personal information obtained will be used only by the person in-charge within the scope of the purpose of collection, to the extent necessary for business purposes, and measures will be taken to ensure that personal information is not used for any other purposes.
- 4) In addition to keeping personal information accurate and up-to-date, MASON strives to correct and protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage.
- 5) MASON will respond sincerely and promptly to inquiries, complaints, and requests for disclosure, etc., regarding personal information from the client.
- 6) The Company shall handle personal information within the scope of the purpose of use clearly indicated to the client. We will not disclose or provide personal information provided by the client to any third-party, except with the client's consent or with justifiable reason.
- 7) MASON will not divulge the contents of consultations, requests, etc. to anyone other than the Client or the Consultant, etc.
- 8) In principle, MASON will not directly contact the Consultant or Client except the designated contact person.
- 9) We will be responsible for the storage, management, and disposal of forms and records received as a result of consultations and requests.
